形態特徵

Shrubs, prostrate; stems creeping, rooting at nodes, densely pubescent when young, glabrescent, somewhat 4-angular.
Leaves mostly simple, obovate or oblong-elliptic, 2.7–4.5 cm long, 1.4–2.5 cm wide, apex rounded or obtuse, base acute or obtuse, sometimes rounded, margin entire, densely pubescent on both surfaces, green adaxially, gray abaxially; petiole 2–6 mm long.
Inflorescence terminal, thyrses. Flowers purplish blue; calyx cup-shaped, 3–4 mm long, shallowly 5-denticulate, tube very densely white pubescent outside, glabrous inside; corolla 5-lobed, 2-lipped, salverform, tube densely pubescent outside, villous on upper part inside, lobes densely pubescent outside, glabrous inside; stamens exserted, ca. 8. mm long, filaments densely villous on lower part; ovary globose, glabrous, style ca. 11 mm long, glabrous.
Fruit subglobose, ca. 5 mm across.

台灣 : open sandy areas near the coast.
世界 : SE. Asia, Pacific islands, the Ryukyus, Japan, and China.
